Pin (pinus strobus)

A quality wood species, recognizable by the fineness of its grain, its colour and its ease of workmanship.
It's the least resinous of pines. Due to its regular texture and nice appearance, it is widely used for furniture, moulding, doors and windows as well as exterior siding. It is also a favourite among cabinetmakers for various projects. We offer this species in various grades, from knotty to clear.

Western red cedar (thuja plicata)

Known for its exceptional physical characteristics, western red cedar is one of the rare wood species
totally saturated with its own preservative oils, thus protecting it from insects and decomposition.
The absence of resin allows the application of numerous finishes. It's a soft wood, easy to work with
and very stable. We can offer you the following:

Clear: Knot-free for the manufacture of solariums, canoes, exterior doors, saunas...
Knotty: Finished on 4 sides, ready to install, for decks and all other exterior projects.
Sidings: Clapboard, cedar shingles or to reproduce an existing model.
Beams: Sawed to measure as per your needs. (Also available in BC Fir/Douglas Fir)

Spanish cedar (cedrela odorata)

Spanish cedar is a soft, light wood offering good insect and putrefaction resistance.
The presence of oil and resin gives it a characteristic odour. This wood is solid and durable,
very resistant to bad weather. It's an excellent choice for exterior projects, interior finishing
and finish carpentry. Available in various thicknesses and clear grade.
